Hundreds of people visited Frerichs Farm in Warren on Saturday to enjoy farm life and a chicken barbecue, and to support The Autism Project – East Bay Support Center. David and Barbara Frerichs hosted the "Good Old Days” fund-raiser, which featured tractor rides, live music, a silent auction and use of the farm's attractions, including a pirate ship and model country-western town.

Mr. Frerichs and his wife, Barbara, have immediate family members with autism and have been long-time supporters of The Autism Project. The new autism support center, which is now operating with a home office at the Highlander Charter School, is a collaborative effort of the Bristol Rotary Charities Foundation and The Autism Project, with support from the Bristol Warren Regional School District, Bradley Hospital and the town governments in Bristol, Warren and Barrington.
