Elaine (Codega) Creamer. In memory of my sister Elaine who passed away April 25, 2019 in her sleep of cancer. She is survived by her two sons, Chad and Jon, her number 1 brother Dick his wife Jean and cousin Maria, who is really not her cousin, however she helped Elaine as a sister would. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Mary and Tony Codega and her sister Barbara.
Every Sunday morning for the past 15 years we would talk, not text, not e-mail, just talk. I would call her and we would talk about anything and everything. We could tell by the sounds of our voices what was going on in our lives.
This is written in her memory and I’ve name it Sunday Morning:
Elaine, you lived within the borders
of God’s fingerprints
whose hands were on your life
in this sacred place of being
above your head
beneath your feet
where your soul rejoices
you have witnessed the universal dance of life
Elaine, may you rest in peace.
Number 1 brother, Dick Codega
