Edward Francis, 86, formerly of Bristol

Edward Francis, 86, of Cutler Street passed away on Oct. 23 at South Kingstown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late William and Adelina (Amaral) Francis. He attended Bristol schools and retired from Kaiser Aluminum in 1993 after 38 years of service.

He is survived by his daughter, Maryann Crellin and her husband Bob, of Narragansett; grandchildren Edward Crellin and his wife Alexis, and William Crellin; great-granddaughter Charlotte Ann Crellin; and brother Manuel Francis, of Connecticut. He was the brother of the late Elizabeth, Joseph, William, Louis, Frank Francis, Marie Ferreira and Viola Nappi.

His funeral services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to South Kingstown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 2115 South County Trail, South Kingstown, RIĀ  02879.
