Edward B. “Eddie” Alexander, age 53, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017. Born in Providence, a son of the late Raymond, Sr. and Anne (Abatiello) Alexander, he was a lifelong resident of Barrington.
A skilled small engine repairman, he worked at Kaiser Aluminum and also Saunders for many years before retiring in 2002. He was an animal lover and also enjoyed working on computers, making rosary beads for St. Luke’s Parish and especially spending time with his grandson.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Edward B. Alexander II; daughter, Jennifer Alexander; brothers, Raymond Alexander, Jr. and his wife Kelly, Kenneth Alexander and his wife Paula and David Alexander; grandson, Edward B. Alexander III and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, April 13, at 9 a.m. in Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren with a service at 11 a.m. in St. Luke’s Parish, 108 Washington Road, Barrington. Visitation prior, 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Maria del Campo Cemetery.
