Ecumenical Thanksgiving service in Little Compton Thursday morning

Posted

The public is invited to attend an ecumenical worship service this Thanksgiving morning at 10 a.m. It is offered in collaboration by the United Congregational Church of Little Compton and St. Andrew’s By The Sea Episcopal Church, and led by the Reverend Beverley Edwards. The Little Compton Historical Society is hosting the service at its historic Friends Meeting House.

The historic hearths will be lit for the 10 a.m. program. Parking is directly in front lawn at 228A West Main Road. Participants do not need to make reservations to attend, but all are required to wear face masks while indoors.

Last year’s pre-recorded program, featuring footage of the Friends Meeting House and Little Compton scenery, is also available by searching YouTube for “Little Compton Thanksgiving Service."
