East Providence police seek community’s assistance in identifying car robbery suspects

EAST PROVIDENCE, — On October 19, at approximately 4:41 p.m., two Hispanic males entered Grieco Toyota on Taunton Avenue in East Providence and test drove a silver 2017 Toyota Sienna.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions the males were allowed to test drive the vehicle alone. The two males never returned with the Sienna model minivan.

The vehicle was also taken with a Rhode Island new dealer plate (14F) on it. The vehicle was reported to the police as being stolen.

Please see the attached photos of the suspects. If anyone has had similar thefts or can identify the suspects please contact Detective Grant at 401-435-7600 x20032.
