Election Day is more than a week away, but many residents are not waiting until Nov. 3 to cast their ballots.

Early voting has been taking place at Barrington Town Hall since Oct. 14, and officials there have seen a steady stream of residents stopping in. Voting takes place during normal business hours at the town hall.

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, Barrington will open six polling locations:

• 101- Barrington High School

• 102- Barrington Middle School

• 103 - Nayatt School

• 104 - Hampden Meadows

• 105 - Sowams School

• 106 - Town Hall

The town hall location is for people who have not registered and who can vote only for the president and vice president. All polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Residents can check their polling location by visiting the town's website www.barrington.ri.gov and going to 2020 Elections/Town Clerk/Canvassers page.

The town hall closes at 4 p.m. on Nov. 2.
