Eagles stop three-game losing skid, defeat Rogers 60-41
Barrington's Bonneau brothers combine for 24 points
Nick Bonneau scored 13 points and his brother Ryan added 11 during the Eagles' 60-41 win over Rogers High School on Wednesday night, Jan. 31.
Nick Bonneau knocked down three 3-pointers en route to his team-high 13 points. Deven Connors finished the game with 10 and Ben Silvia and Conor McQueary each scored six in the victory.
The win snapped a three-game losing skid for the Barrington High School boys basketball team. Barrington lost to Chariho 61-54 on Jan. 22, Cumberland 65-61 on Wednesday, Jan. 24, and East Greenwich 82-55 on Friday night
Against the Clippers, Will Rywolt scored 22 points and Brendan Conaty had 12, but the Eagles struggled to slow down the state's leading scorer — Tyler Kolek, who finished with 43 against Barrington.
In the loss to the Avengers, Barrington fell behind 43-18 at half-time and was unable to close the gap in the second half. Mike Coogan scored 13 to lead Barrington while Conatdy scored 12 and Silvia finished with nine.
Barrington's division record is 6-6.
