Barrington boys tennis team also beats Hendricken

The Barrington High School boys tennis team defeated South Kingstown for the second time this season and also picked up a key win over Bishop Hendricken recently.

On Thursday, April 25, the Eagles defeated South Kingstown 6-1. Barrington's singles players James Bogdanovic (number 1), Eric Zhang (number 2), Owen Voigt (number 3) and Alex Caizzi (number 4) each won their matches 6-0, 6-0. 

The first doubles team of Brian Donahue and Connor Kelly, and the third doubles team of Andrew Barton and Matt Brenner also celebrated wins.

The Eagles lone loss came at number two doubles, when Lucas Johnson and Jules Anton lost 4-6, 6-3, 10-7.

On Tuesday, April 23, Barrington rolled to a 7-0 victory over Hendricken. Barrington players — singles players and doubles teams — won in straight sets. 

The two recent wins pushed Barrington's record to 8-0 in Division I rankings.
