William Rywolt scored 22 points, Ben Silvia finished with 19, and Mike Coogan added 10 while pacing the Barrington High School boys basketball team to a 69-64 win over Wheeler on Saturday, Dec. 16.
The game was part of the St. Andrew's Holiday Classic tournament.
Rywolt knocked down four of five free throws and drilled two three-pointers en route to the team-high 22 points. Meanwhile Silvia hit four three's and was a perfect three-for-three from the free throw line.
The victory improved Barrington's overall record to 3-0, and came on the heels of a 67-28 Division II victory over North Providence on Friday night.
Barrington held North Providence to just 14 first-half points and cruised to the comfortable win.
Ryan Bonneau scored 15 points to lead the Eagles while Coogan added 14 and Rywolt scored 11.
Barrington built a 38-26 halftime lead and held on for a 81-75 victory over Woonsocket on Dec. 13. Rywolt led all scorers with 30 points and Silvia finished with 20. Coogan added 15 and Deven Connors and Bonneau each scored six.
