Breannan L. Gallant, 40, of 814 Hope St., Apt. 3, Bristol, was charged with exploitation of an elder (between $500 and $100,000) and three counts of illegal computer access. The arrest stems from a report first filed on Aug. 6. A subsequent investigation showed that Gallant had been withdrawing funds from an elderly woman in her care since April 2025, according to police. Gallant had used multiple ATMs throughout Portsmouth and surrounding towns to withdraw more than $29,000 from the woman’s bank account without the victim’s authorization, police said. Officers knew Sintes Martinez through a prior contact, police said.
