Donald R. Perry, 81, of Westport, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Somerset Ridge Center. He was the husband of Geraldine I. (Hardy) Perry.
Born in Fall River, son of the late Frank R. and Mary (Dutra) Perry, he had lived in Westport since 1968. He was a self-employed acupuncturist and entrepreneur. An avid golfer, he was a former member for 40 years at Montaup Country Club. He was also an original member of the band, Spi-Dells. Mr. Perry was a passionate Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics fan and loved dogs.
Including his wife, survivors include a daughter, Donna L. Perry of Tiverton; a brother, Frank Perry of Florida; a grandson, Jason D. Perry and his wife Veronica Cooley-Perry of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements under the direction of the Potter Funeral Home will be held at the convenience of the family.
