Clyde Junior "Whitey" Depoy, Bristol

Clyde Junior “Whitey” Depoy, age 68, of Pringle Mill Road, the Alton Community, West Virginia, died Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.

He was born on November 5, 1947, in Czar, WV, a son of the late Clyde Newman and Hilda Lee Gould Depoy.  On November 8, 1968, he was united in marriage to Joyce Luther Depoy, who survives.  Also surviving are one daughter Michelle DaSilva of Alton; one son Kevin Depoy and wife Krystal of Bristol, Rhode Island; three grandchildren:  Jami Warner, Kyle Depoy, and Lillian Depoy; and one brother Carl Depoy and wife Linda of Buckhannon, WV.

Mr. Depoy was an avid hunter and member of the East Warren Rod and Gun Club in Rhode Island.  He also served as Treasurer of the Alton Cemetery Committee.

The body will be cremated and no services will be held.  Online condolences may be extended the Depoy family at www.heavnerandcutright.com  The Depoy family has entrusted the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel of Buckhannon, WV with the arrangements.
