Carol Ann Cavalieri, 72, of Bristol

Mrs. Carol Ann (Ferreira) Cavalieri, age 72, of Narrows Road, Bristol, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, at St. Elizabeth’s Manor with her husband of 53 years, Domenic Cavalieri, by her side.

Born in Fall River, Mass., and raised as a lifelong resident of Bristol, she was a daughter of the late John and Irene (Ferreira) Ferreira. Carol was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1965. She was a cook at Silver Creek Manor for 38 years, retiring in 2013.

Carol was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church. She was an avid reader and loved playing cards. Carol loved and was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved caring for her family and home, and loved taking family trips.  

She is survived in addition to her husband by three children, Trisha Ann Cloutier (John Paul) of Bristol, Ann Marie Donnelly (Peter) of Rehoboth, Mass., and James Adam Cavalieri (Tiffany) of Bristol, five grandchildren, Lauren and Rachel Cloutier, Catherine and James Donnelly, Brody Cavalieri, and a brother, John Ferreira, Jr. of Tiverton.

Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home,192 Wood St., Bristol, are Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at 10 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol.  Visiting hours will be Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019, from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bristol Fire Dept. and Rescue Squad, P.O.
