Candlelight Tours of Linden Place Mansion

This December, get a glimpse of Christmas past at Linden Place Mansion’s Candlelight Tour. As you stroll through the decorated mansion rooms of the 1810 Federal home, you will learn all about the five generations of the DeWolf-Colt families who lived here and how Christmas was celebrated in Bristol in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

During the one-hour guided tour, you are surrounded by elegant decorations on every mantle and in every nook and cranny, a towering Christmas tree in the Gothic conservatory, all candlelit for the perfect holiday feel. Bring the family for an evening you won’t forget! Festive refreshments will be served.

The tour will take place Friday, December 17th at both 5pm and 6pm and Wednesday, December 29th at 5pm and 6pm. Tours are limited to 15 people for a safe, enjoyable experience for all. Reservations are required.

Admission is $12, $10 for seniors and students and free for kids under 12. Don’t forget to visit Linden Place’s Museum Shop which is stocked with wonderful hostess gifts and a broad range of Rhode Island history books as well as an extensive collection of locally made gifts.
