Bristol PorchFest brings 20 bands to 10 porches

Bristol PorchFest is back on with 10 porches and 20 bands performing all types of music for strolling spectators in the downtown area. The street is closed to traffic. It’s a free, fun, family-friendly event. Audiences are asked to respect private property and keep trash with them.

WHAT: Bristol PorchFest

WHEN: Sunday, Sept. 17, from 3 to 6 p.m.

WHERE: High Street, which is closed between Walley and Byfield streets, Bristol

COST: Free and open to the public, but donations are accepted
