Bristol police officers made one arrest and investigated a handful of coyote and noisy neighbor complaints from Feb. 23 to 28.
Tuesday, Feb. 23
Police were called to Jameson Drive at 1:38 p.m. after DPW workers were clearing items and found a homeless camp.
A State Street resident called police because a coyote was sleeping in their yard at 3:27 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 24
A Kingswood Drive resident complained of loud music at 4:29 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 25
Police were called to keep the peace on Harrison Street at 12:49 p.m. It was one of three domestic calls to Harrison Street during the day.
Friday, Feb. 26
A caller from Siegel Street reported a neighbor on another floor was playing music loudly at 11:01 p.m.
A caller reported a group of people in the street and yelling at the intersection of Hope and Bradford streets at 11:44 p.m. An officer dispersed them from the area.
Saturday, Feb. 27
An officer spoke to residents who were being loud outside on Murphy Avenue at 12:38 a.m.
Devin P. Vieira, 22, of Warren, was taken into custody by Warren Police at 1:08 a.m. and handed over to Bristol officers, who charged him on two warrants for possession of narcotics.
At 5:37 p.m., a Constitution Street resident reported that a coyote had been in her yard all day.
Sunday, Feb. 28
Officers investigated a complaint of loud music on Primrose Drive at 1:55 a.m.
Officers spoke to resident on Constitution Street after a complaint of loud music at 3:32 a.m.
Someone reported an ATV riding in the Waypoyset Preserve area off Narrows Road at 5:24 p.m.
