The Bristol Police Department had a relatively quiet week from Nov. 25 to Dec. 1, though still intervened in a couple of situations and arrested three people over the course of the week.

Monday, Nov. 25

A resident on Claremont Avenue requested assistance removing an unwanted person from the premises at 12:28 p.m.

An officer responded to Stop and Shop at 5:53 p.m. after someone reported a stolen purse. The purse was ultimately located in the customer’s shopping cart.

Tuesday, Nov. 26

Officers assisted at the scene of a serious accident at the corner of Metacom and Bay View avenues at 10:38 a.m. One person was extricated from a car and taken to Rhode Island Hospital.

A caller complained of people playing basketball at Colt School at 11:09 p.m. An officer dispersed them from the area.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

A man was dispersed from the Prudence Ferry dock at 12:25 a.m.

A woman called police at 7:20 a.m. to report she was in an argument with her boyfriend. Officers responded and arrested both of them. Corey D. Rogers, 32, of 16 Prospect St., Bristol, and Lorna L. Church, 33, also of 16 Prospect St., was each charged with domestic simple assault. Each was taken to the station, charged and taken to District Court in Providence for arraignment.

At 10:34 a.m., a caller reported a bottle of liquor was stolen from 1776 Liquors on Monday.

A caller reported loose chickens on Clipper Way at 11:26 a.m.

Thursday, Nov. 28

A man was dispersed from the area of Thames and Church streets at 1:02 a.m.

Officers took a report of a fight at Aidan’s Pub on John Street at 1:12 a.m.

An officer instructed people who were removing sand from the Town Beach at 2:49 p.m. to return the sand to the beach.

Friday, Nov. 29

An officer picked up three young women who were walking across the Mt. Hope Bridge at 2:27 p.m. and transported them to the base of the bridge.

After a traffic stop on Metacom Avenue, Michael V. Fasano, 48, of 2 Pokanoket Place, Apt. B, Bristol, was charged with DUI, carrying a weapon while intoxicated, and refusal to submit to a chemical test (second violation within a five-year period).

Someone reported a suspicious vehicle at Narrows Point at 11:04 p.m. It was gone when an officer arrived.

An officer dispersed a vehicle and its occupants from the Mt. Hope Boat Ramp area at 11:15 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 30

Rescue was called to Sherry Avenue at 1 a.m. after a caller reported a woman crying in the area.

A caller complained of loud music on St. Elizabeth Street at 2 a.m.

Officers were called to a domestic dispute on Bradford Street at 11:47 a.m. A man had left before their arrival; an officer accompanied a patient taken by rescue to Newport.

An officer dispersed a vehicle and its occupants from Narrows Point at 9:07 p.m.

A Sousa Street resident complained of a loud truck at 10:38 p.m. It turned out to be a car being towed.

Sunday, Dec. 1

A  Normand Street resident called police at 4:27 a.m. after seeing a couple of people outside near their car. They asked an officer to check the area.

Someone called police to complain that a motorist had been parked on the pump at the Seasons Corner Market for half an hour. An officer inquired and learned the driver had been using their phone.
