Bristol Police: Arrests for domestic violence and indecent exposure

Bristol police officers arrested a juvenile for exposing himself to a woman near the bike path and broke up the usual array of noisy gatherings, during incidents from Sept. 14 to 20.

Monday, Sept. 14

A woman contacted police at 3:16 p.m. to say that a juvenile had exposed himself while sitting next to her on a bench near the East Bay Bike Path and Asylum Road. Officers tracked him down and took the teen into custody. The 16-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct-indecent exposure. He was released to his parents to appear in Family Court at a later date.

A Union Street resident reported a raccoon inside the hallway of her residence at 6:20 p.m.

A woman requested that a man be removed from a Beach Road residence at 9 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 15

An officer spoke with a tenant living on Thompson Avenue after police received a noise complaint (loud music) at 1:43 a.m.

Officers responded to Lisa Lane at 6:17 a.m. to assist with a juvenile who was reportedly out of control.

An officer spoke with dog owners who let the canines run free in the athletic fields near the town beach at 1:02 p.m.

An 18-year-old was cited for unlawful drinking and misrepresentation of age after an ID check at 1776 Liquors at 4:53 p.m.

Officers spoke to a group of about 10 juveniles who were not social-distancing while hanging out at the Town Beach complex at 5:07 p.m.

A resident complained about fishermen who were making noise along Poppasquash Road at 5:18 p.m. An officer responded and spoke to the fishermen.

A 19-year-old was cited for unlawful drinking and misrepresentation of age after an ID check at 1776 Liquors at 6:40 p.m.

Police were called to the Lobster Pot restaurant at 6:45 p.m. after a patron was asked to leave and refused.

An officer dispersed people from Paull Park on Sherry Avenue at 8:52 p.m.

An officer dispersed a man who was fishing on private property on Poppasquash Road at 9:28 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 16

Officers spoke to a woman who was locked out of her apartment on Magnolia Street after someone called police to report her being loud at 12:48 a.m.

Police served a warrant on David C. Jaycox, 37, of Providence. He was taken to District Court.

Thursday, Sept. 17

Someone reported loud banging coming from inside a Wood Street apartment at 1:08 a.m.

Someone complained of a woman who was talking loudly on her cell phone while walking along Court Street at 2:14 a.m.

Someone complained about noise from two apartments in a Bradford Street residence at 11:05 p.m. A patrolman spoke with the residents, who had the television volume up loud.

A caller complained of loud music and voices from the area of Third School Street and State Street at 11:17 p.m. An officer spoke with people who agreed to bring things inside for the night.

A caller reported loud music and people talking at a Cooke Street residence at 11:52 p.m. It turned out to be two people in the back yard, and they were advised to quiet down.

Friday, Sept. 18

An officer dispersed people in a vehicle from the Town Beach area at 12:20 a.m.

A Greenway Drive resident complained of harassment from a neighbor at 11 a.m.

A Goulart Avenue resident reported problems with a neighbor at 1:55 p.m.

An officer spoke with two juveniles after they were reportedly riding scooters in traffic near the intersection of Hope Street and Poppasquash Road at 5:17 p.m.

Officers responded to the Bristol Harbor Inn after an employee reported a loud party from the penthouse suite and the guests refusing to respond to requests to quiet down at 11:33 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 19

After stopping a reportedly reckless vehicle on Burton Street at 9:47 a.m., officers arrested Jared Correiro, 36, of Fall River, on a District Court warrant. Rescue was called to the scene, before he was taken to the ACI.

After both Rescue and police responded to a Bay View Avenue residence at 12:47 p.m., Emanuel C. Silveira, 50, of Market Street in Warren, was charged with domestic assault. He was arraigned at the station and released.

A caller complained of loud noise in the DeWolf Avenue area at 9:59 p.m. A patrolman responded and found all quiet.

Sunday, Sept. 20

A caller complained of people being loud on Fox Hill Avenue at 12:52 a.m. A patrolman reported no music or noise upon arrival, just someone speaking in the back yard. They agreed to move inside for the night.

An officer spoke to three men who appeared intoxicated on State Street at 9:45 p.m.
