Police dispersed someone who was checking out the abandoned greenhouses behind police headquarters at 11:35 a.m.

Police got a report of a car driving suspiciously slowly on Viking Drive at 9:35 p.m. but didn’t find anyone in the area.

Wednesday, March 8

Shannon Mederos, 40, of Providence, was arrested on a Superior Court warrant at Barrington Police headquarters at 12:25 a.m. She was charged with possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance.

An injured deer was reported on Broadcommon Road at 6:30 a.m.

An employee of a business on Creek Lane reported having money taken from their purse at 10:49 a.m.

Thursday, March 9

Valdemiro Loras, 38, of Bristol, was arrested at 6:29 a.m. on Wilson Street. He was charged with violating a no contact order (third offense) and was transported to district court.

Malik Arslan, 34, of Fall River, Mass., was arrested on a bench warrant from 6th District Court at 9:11 a.m.

Friday, March 10

The fire department’s hazmat unit was dispersed to Mt. Hope Avenue at 8:50 a.m. to investigate an unknown substance found in a trash truck.

Police helped clear up a neighborly dispute on Hopeworth Avenue at 9:52 a.m. that revolved around a blanket taken from a fence.

Police caught up with two juveniles who were reportedly stealing packages in the area of Burton Street at 5:49 p.m. The report indicates one package was returned to its rightful address, and the juveniles were released to the custody of their parents.

Saturday, March 11

A vehicle was reported to have been vandalized on Everett Street at 11:43 a.m.

Sunday, March 12

Police dispersed someone from Jane Lane at 10:45 a.m. who was reportedly yelling for an unknown reason.

Police broke up a dispute over the score of a softball game occurring at Colt State Park at 4:14 p.m.

The fire department watered smoldering debris on Sherry Avenue at 6:31 p.m.
