Monday, May 16
A caller on Harrison Street reported that a neighbor’s dog attacked her dog while walking at 10:07 a.m.
A caller on Kingswood Road reported at 12:05 p.m. that a drone kept flying over their property and hovering in place.
Steven Simas, 32, of Bristol, was arrested following an incident at a residence on State Street at 11:29 p.m. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, third offense, and disorderly conduct, first offense). He was arraigned and transported to court.
Tuesday, May 17
The animal control officer removed a raccoon that had found its way into a Metacom Avenue garage at 11:29 a.m.
A speeding moped was reported on Paine Avenue at 4:46 p.m. but was gone when police arrived.
Wednesday, May 18
Bank fraud was reported on Garfield Avenue at 3:20 p.m.
A lawn ornament was reported missing/stolen at 4:06 p.m. on DeWolf Avenue.
Thursday, May 19
What was reported to be a duck in the roadway near Broadcommon Road and Gooding Avenue at 2:39 p.m. turned out to be an injured seagull. It was transported to a wildlife rehabilitation facility.
Michael Brum, 51, of Bristol, was arrested on Metacom Avenue at 5:49 p.m. following a report of suspicious activity. He was charged with a bench warrant from 6th District Court and was transported to the ACI.
Vincent Donald Luongo, 46, of Bristol, was arrested on Church Street at 6:42 p.m. following a report of suspicious activity. He was charged with three Superior Court warrants.
An air conditioning unit was reported at 8:18 p.m. to have fallen on a car on Roma Street.
Friday, May 20
A disorderly patron was dispersed from the area of Gooding Avenue at 2:47 p.m.
Police advised the operator of a motorized scooter who was reportedly speeding on Paine Avenue at 6:31 p.m.
Numerous noise complaints throughout Bristol were reported between 10:00 and 11:55 p.m. but all were unfounded.
Saturday, May 21
A pizza delivery driver made a whoopsie and tried delivering a pizza to an incorrect High Street address at 12:23 a.m. The resident called police, who cleared up the issue with the delivery driver.
A driver on Primrose Drive was reportedly blasting music and screaming out of their window at 1:08 a.m., but police did not locate the individual.
James Defreitas, 59, of Bristol, was arrested following a fight on Wood Street at 9:59 p.m. He was charged with simple assault and/or battery and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned the following morning.
Sunday, May 22
A caller on Lincoln Avenue reported at 4:43 that there was a group of college kids “throwing furniture in the roadway.”
A caller on Magnolia Street reported at 10:38 p.m. that a bathroom window had been open when she arrived home, and was worried someone had broken into the house.
