Bristol Democrats have their November slate
With mail-in ballots counted, Joseph DeMelo is out
Bristol's only contested primary was to decide which of six democrats — five officially endorsed by the town party, one not — would represent the ticket in November.
When all votes were counted (which for the first time in memory included more mail-in ballots than in person), Aaron Ley collected the most votes, with 1,285, with the lone unendorsed democrat, Joseph DeMelo, out of the running.
The final results are as follows (Note: "Emergency ballots" refers to those cast early at the Town Hall):
