'Brew at the Zoo' is Saturday night

Tap into your wild side at Brew at the Zoo on Saturday, Aug. 26, an adults-only evening event, and sample more than 170 beers, hard seltzers, and ready-to-drink cocktails from more than 100 local, regional and national brewers (see the full list here). Enjoy live musical entertainment by The Niteflies, animal encounters and more at Rhode Island’s largest outdoor beer festival.

This is a 21+ event, and no person under the age of 21 will be permitted. All attendees are required to show a valid ID. Rain or shine, tickets are non-refundable. See below for important event information and tickets.

General admission tickets for the event from 5 to 8 p.m. are $70. Tickets available here.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
