Beverly C. Lees, 81, Westport

Beverly C. (Reed) Lees, 81, of Westport, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019, at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Lees.

Mrs. Lees was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Milton B. and Evelyn B. (Cummings) Reed, and had been a lifelong resident of Westport. Prior to her retirement, she was the co-owner of Lees Oil Service, Inc., Westport. She enjoyed Jai Alai and going to Foxwoods. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her two sons, Mark A. Lees and his wife Deborah of Westport and Michael C. Lees and his wife Sherrie of Westport; two sisters, Lorna Cournoyer and Marilyn Manchester, both of Westport; five grandchildren, Allison, Lindsey, Michael II, Shayne and Charlie-Rae; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Carol Souza.

Graveside service, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be Saturday, June 29, at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
