Beverly A. Christ, 95, of Barrington

Beverly A. (Burgstahler) Christ, 95, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 24, 2020. She was the wife of Herman F. Christ, they were married for over 72 years.

Beverly was born in Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Annie (Matteson) Burgstahler.

She grew up in Providence, and moved to Barrington when she married.

Beverly graduated from Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing as an RN. She worked at Bradley Hospital.

Her greatest passion was raising her children and taking care of her grandchildren.

She also loved gardening, spending time in her beautiful flower gardens and volunteering in the gardens of Blithewold in Bristol. She was a member of the Barrington Garden Club for many years.

She is survived by her husband Herman (Craig), her daughter, Heidi Colella and husband Peter, two sons Peter Christ and wife Linda, and Eric Christ and wife Holly, four grandchildren, Annie Colella, Martha Colella and husband Brendan Prior, Katie Christ, and Rebecca Christ.

She is survived by her sister Betty Cammack, and predeceased by her sister Dorothy Greenwood.

Services and burial will be private.
