Beatrice A. Cirillo, 97, of Bristol

Mrs. Beatrice A. (Espinosa) Cirillo, age 97, of Holly Lane, Bristol, died Saturday, March 28, 2020, at the Grace Barker Nursing Center, Warren. She was the wife of the late John Cirillo, her husband of 49 years, who preceded her in death in April of 1994. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Maria Sophia (Faria) Espinosa. 

Beatrice was an assembler for the Converse Rubber Company, formerly of Bristol, for 25 years, retiring in the early 1980s. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church, Bristol and a member and former President and Secretary of the Bristol Senior Center. She was a member and Past President of the Kaiser Retirees group and a member of the Harbor Lights at St. Mary’s Church.

Beatrice loved spending time with her family and friends, playing Bingo, doing puzzles, knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed making her spaghetti with meatballs and coffee cake for Sunday dinner.

She is survived by five children, Mary S. Leonard (John) of Bristol, John Cirillo, Jr. (Karen) of Warren, Elizabeth Sullivan (Paul) of Inman, S.C., Arthur L. Cirillo (Patti) of Bristol, and Richard M. Cirillo, MD (Kathleen) of Maryland; a sister, Evelyn Laroche of Bristol, and 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary LeBrun, Adeline Saulnier and Louise Bertrand.

Funeral services and burial will be private. A Celebration of her life with a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at a later date to be announced.
