The Barrington High School girls' volleyball team remained undefeated with a pair of wins last week, defeating Lincoln 25-25-21, 28-26 and Mt. Hope, 25-18, 25-12, 25-20.
"Though we swept both teams each match was a welcome challenge for the players," wrote Barrington coach Ron Enos. "Lincoln is well balanced and pushed us to some exciting rallies while Mt. Hope played us tough like they always do."
Barrington served tough last week with 41 aces and 15 errors. Kayla Howarth and Noelle Cooke did a nice job controlling the Eagles' offense, with 25 and 20 assists, respectively.
"The backcourt was solid in both serve receive and defense led by libero Sophia Angelini who recorded 19 digs," Enos added.
Barrington's junior varsity team is also playing well this season with a 5-0 record. Each team has lost just one set this season.
