The BHS team recently won its third straight state championship — High School Quiz Show: Rhode Island has only been in existence for three years.

In the finals, Barrington squared off against La Salle Academy, winning 570 to 105.
Barrington High School's coach Bob Marley said his team performed very well throughout the tournament.
The BHS team featured senior Douglas Meeker, juniors Clara Kugler and Eden Lamb, and freshman Eli Terrell. Connor O'Neal and Benjamin Lamb were team alternates.
The competitions were filmed earlier in the school year.
Barrington High School has built a reputation for defeating private school teams from across Rhode Island in the finals of High School Quiz Show.
Last year a team from Barrington High School captured the championship with a lopsided win over Mount St. Charles Academy, and the year before that Barrington defeated a team from Bishop Hendricken by more than 400 points in the finals.
