Barrington police charged three teenagers with possession and consumption by underage persons after responding to a voice complaint on Old Forge Road at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
When officers arrived at the home they found teenagers in the yard and some inside the residence. One of the teens outside appeared to be badly intoxicated; other kids at the party fled into the woods when they saw the police officers.
Police charged Reid F. Jerue, 18, of 2 Old Forge Road, and two 16-year-old Barrington boys. Rescue personnel transported the intoxicated boy (he was one of the two 16-year-olds charged) to the hospital for detox.
There was no school on Wednesday, Sept. 23, because of a religious holiday.
