The Robo Eagles, the robotics team from Barrington High School, was one of 28 teams to compete recently in the FIRST Tech Challenge hosted by New England Institute of Technology at their automotive center in Warwick.
During the day-long event, teams collaborated to have their robots perform tasks, such as moving blocks and stacking them in both autonomous and driver-controlled modes.
In between visits to the center rings where their performance was rated, teams had the opportunity to make adjustments and even get a bite of pizza. The team featured Trevor Mohlman, Matthew Bowman, Raish Saoda and Ariadne Dulchinos.
