The Barrington High School boys indoor track team had athletes competing at National Championship meets earlier this month.

At the New Balance Nationals Indoor in Boston, Barrington High School standout distance runner Brandon Piedade competed in the 2-mile run, Sam Spector competed in the weight throw, and Ethan Knight competed in the hurdles.

Barrington’s Joe Adams competed in the weight throw at the Nike Indoor Nationals in New York.

The highlight in Boston was a 13th-place finish by the 4-by-55-meter shuttle hurdle relay team of Ethan Knight, Ryan Martin, Eli Terrell and Bobby Wind.
