Barrington police are trying to track down a Ford pickup truck that was seen fleeing from the scene of a crime last week.
On Monday, June 10, a Barrington resident called police after someone tossed a brick threw the rear-window of his car while it was parked outside his home on Bay Spring Avenue. The incident occurred at around 10 p.m.; the resident said he was inside his home when he heard the sound of glass breaking.
Police responded to the scene and spoke to the victim and a neighbor, who allegedly spotted a Ford pickup truck fleeing the area. The witness said the truck was two-tone, dark colored with a white stripe.
The witness also said he spotted two people sitting in the bed of the truck as it drove away with its headlights off.
