Barrington's Priscilla Dunphy was recently selected for the Varsity Club Award at WPI.

The award is presented to the female senior athlete on her achievements, contributions, character, leadership, sportsmanship, and promotion of school spirit during her years at WPI. Priscilla was a standout member of the WPI women's basketball team.

"Priscilla Dunphy was key to getting the Engineers back to the NEWMAC title game for the second time in as many years as she a hit a layup, stole the ball and canned a free throw late in the semifinal versus Clark," stated a press release from WPI.

Priscilla was an All-NEWMAC selection and ranked first in the conference in three-point field goal percentage. She was also top-10 in three-pointers made, minutes played and steals. She led her team in three-pointers and free throw percentage and was second on the team in scoring and rebounding, and third in steals.

"The WPI Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament Team honoree achieved double-digit scoring in 17 contests," stated the release. "She was also rewarded with a NEWBA Senior All-Star Game invite and a spot on the All-WACBA Second Team. Off the court, Dunphy is active with Special Olympics, Relay for Life and Big Brothers, Big Sisters."
