The home at 85 Nayatt Road recently entered the real estate market with a list price of $12 million.  It is believed to be the highest-ever single family home price in Barrington.

The Kirk/Schryver Team from Compass is listing the home, which was originally built by former professional golfer Brad Faxon but has been updated throughout. The home offers more than 13,500 square feet of space, sweeping views of Narragansett Bay, seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, an indoor putting green and more.

“This extraordinary waterfront estate, set perfectly on 3.9 acres overlooking Narragansett Bay, redefines luxury, coastal living,” stated the listing. “The meticulously reimagined residence, following a stunning three-year remodel, offers over 13,500 square feet with seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms — marrying unparalleled sophistication with cutting edge amenities.”

The interior finishes include details such as a six-foot-by-15-foot Danby marble island and stone glass countertops in the chef's kitchen, custom eight-inch white oak hardwood flooring with radiant heat on the entire main floor, and a primary suite that offers soaring ceilings, natural light and views of Narragansett Bay.

“The entire house offers Smart home technology with a fully integrated Lutron automated lighting, Sonos Sound system and a state of the art security system,” stated the listing. “The exterior offers resort living with a new 20x50 foot infinity pool and spa, a grand cabana with a fireplace and a lighted tennis/pickleball court.

“This is truly a property that is the pinnacle of waterfront luxury living in Rhode Island with access to Newport, Providence and all the Ocean State has to offer.”

Lisa Schryver and Elizabeth Kirk released a statement regarding 85 Nayatt Road.

“At $12  million, this estate represents not just a milestone—but a true redefinition of luxury in Barrington. It’s in a class of one, a coastal retreat reflecting a level of scale, quality, and amenity that undeniably command an ultra premium. 85 Nayatt transcends traditional valuation benchmarks—aligning more closely with a small collection of trophy properties that line New England’s coveted coastline and islands, not just Barrington proper. The property is an ultra-luxe retreat for the senses where every detail is perfection. It appeals to the most discerning buyers, whose search is not restricted to a specific zip code but rather is on the pursuit of acquiring the exceptional.”
