Barrington High School band and chorus to perform together

Fall concert is Monday night, Oct. 21

Breaking with tradition, Barrington High School band and chorus students will perform together at a fall concert on Monday, Oct. 21.  

The public event will feature the chorus, jazz ensemble and concert band. More than 150 students will be participating. The concert is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. and will last approximately 90 minutes. 

Highlights will include classical, contemporary and jazz selections from composers including Vivaldi, Erikson, Thelonious Monk and Robert Schumann. 

Tickets for the performance are $5 each and will be sold at the door.

In addition, the Barrington High School Jazz band will perform a concert on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. at the library. The event is open to the public.
