LaSalle wasted very little time building a lead against Barrington on Friday. The Rams hit on a 50-yard touchdown pass, and increased the lead on another touchdown a few minutes later. The Rams capitalized after Barrington fumbled away its first possession, taking it 70 yards to make the score 20-0. LaSalle was up 34-0 with only five minutes played in the first half. The first three touchdowns were all scored by CJ Waite.

Barrington was plagued by injuries, as quarterback Jake Fontaine and running back Nick DiPaola both were forced out of the game.

At 7:47 in the second half and with the score 40-0, the crowd was taken by surprise, as the field went black. The power outage led to an hour and a half delay. However, the homecoming king and queen would still be crowned and football continued.

The only scoring play for the rest of the game was one La Salle touchdown, with the Eagles' defense regaining their bearings. Barrington's downfall was turnovers, with multiple interceptions and fumbles. The final score was 47-0, LaSalle.
