The Barrington Fire Department honor guard will present the flags prior to the start of the Red Sox vs. Yankees game at Fenway Park in Boston on Sunday night.

The local honor guard submitted a request to Red Sox officials, and last week the local department received an email alerting them to the good news.

"This is special, and I'm happy for them," said Fire Chief Gerald Bessette about his department's honor guard. "These men are all volunteers for the honor guard."

The six-member honor guard includes Lt. Nick Caisse, and firefighters Mike Read, Josh Rocha, Nick Tessatore, Milos Mirkovic and David Reitman.

The Red Sox vs. Yankees game will be broadcast live on ESPN at 8 p.m. Sunday night.
