Barrington Festival of Doors raises holiday spirits, money for Tap-In

Residents invited to decorate their doors

Posted

Coldwell Banker Realty will again sponsor the The Barrington Festival of Doors this holiday season.

Born out of local realtor Susan Kostas's May 2021 Community Yard Sales event, which benefitted the East Bay Food Pantry, four Barrington residents who are also Coldwell Banker agents fashioned an idea to celebrate both the community's enthusiasm for helping others and the holiday season.

The Barrington Festival of Doors began Nov. 26 and will continue until Dec. 31. Barrington residents are invited to decorate their front doors in any way that celebrates the holiday season.

Residents can decorate just the way they always have or they can go all out. Door decorators are invited to sign up by calling 401-247-0202, emailing elaine.craig@nemoves.com or posting a message to the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/CBRealtyBarringtonRI.

Those who sign up by Dec. 15 will have their doors photographed and featured on the drive-around tour.

To mark this season of giving, for each decorated door Coldwell Banker Realty will make a donation to Tap-In whose doors have been open to East Bay residents in need since 1983.

Regarding the Festival of Doors' support of Tap-In, Pam Faulkner, a co-founder and board member said, “We so appreciate Coldwell Banker’s support of Tap-In and look forward to this festive community event.”
