Students from across the state and from as far away as South Korea were honored as the Class of 2013 from Barrington Christian Academy recently.

Attendees were welcomed by Elsie R. Wright, head of school, while BCA history teacher Jack Diamond offered the commencement address, “Living a Life of Success.”

Teara Caston, a Portsmouth resident who will attend Cedarville College in the fall, gave the student address, and was followed by Phoebe Mack and Brynn Carley who shared their reflections on 13 years at BCA.

The students whose GPA earned them membership into the National Honor Society included: Brynn Carley, Teara Caston, Joon Kim, Phoebe Mack, Epiphany Smith, and Megan Sullivan. Phoebe Mack was recognized as earning highest honors this year.

Founded in 1979 by Barrington Baptist Church, with 50 students in grades 1 through 8, BCA expanded to include a high school beginning in 2006. The school currently enrolls approximately 230 students, including a growing number of international students.
