Barrington boys indoor track team cruises to dual meet wins

Eagles defeat Mt. Pleasant and Central

The Eagles won nearly every event in the indoor track dual meet opener on Monday night, Dec. 11. 

The Barrington boys team rolled to victories over Mt. Pleasant 102-7, and Central 91-18. (Mt. Hope High School did not compete at the meet.)

The Eagles swept the top three spots in the 3,000-meter race, 55-meter hurdles, 300-meter race, 1,500-meter race, 600-meter race, and the 1,000-meter race.

Following is a list of the top Barrington finishers:

• Long jump: 1. Aden Memoli, 3. Patrick Trainor

• High jump: 2. Chucky Potter, 3. Shea Parish

• Weight throw: 1. Joe Adams, 3. Graham Bennett

• Shot put: 1. Adams, 3. Levi Robbins

• 300-meters: 1. Iain DeBoth, 2. Will DiGiacomo, 3. Bobby Wind

• 1,000-meters: 1. Brandon Piedade, 2. Daniel Chun, 3. Marius Bonard

• 3,000-meters: 1. Myles Napolitano, 2. Elliot Lefort, 3. Colby Napolitano

• 1,500-meters: 1. Michael Chun, 2. Connor Curran, 3. Daniel Chun

• 600-meters: 1. Henry Stockwell, 2. Bonard, 3. Brooks Mello

• 55-meter hurdles: 1. Wind, 2. Ryan Martin, 3. Jared Lesk

• 55-meter dash: 2. Gabe Tanous

• 4x200-meter relay: 1. Barrington (Tanous, Charley Potter, Chucky Potter, DeBoth)

• 4x400-meter relay: 1. Barrington (DiGiacomo, Tanous, Stockwell, Piedade)
