The Barrington U12 All-Star team will play against New Jersey in a must-win game in the Little League World Series tonight, Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.

The Barrington U12 All-Star team will play against New Jersey in a must-win game in the Little League World Series tonight, Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.

Barrington, which represents the New England region, lost its first game of the tournament to the Southeast Region team, 3-0, but rebounded with a 6-1 win over the Great Lakes Regional champs, Bowling Green, Ky. on Saturday.

New Jersey, which represents the Mid-Atlantic region, won its first game of the tournament but lost 6-0 to the West Regional champs, Hawaii, on Monday.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far.
