Barrington eliminated at states

The Barrington 50-70 Division All-Star baseball team advanced to the state tournament where it lost to East Greenwich in a best-of-three finals.

Gabe Graff and AJ Aguiar made some solid defensive plays in the outfield of the second game of the series, while Max Boyajian was solid defensively at second base in both games.

On offense, Graff was 5-for-7 over the two game stretch. Max, Charlie Lucas and Graff each drove in runs.

This was the first time Barrington has entered a 50-70 team in postseason district play — 50-70 is an intermediate level between Majors Division and Juniors.
