On the mound, Barrington’s Wes Argo started the game and pitched two and one-third innings, allowing two earned runs while walking one and striking out five. Angelo Bruneau pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief. Bruneau struck out six, walked two and allowed only one hit. Coppolino had four put-outs at second base.

With the victory, Barrington advances to a winner’s bracket game against Middletown on Sunday, July 14 at 5:45 p.m. The game will be played at Aquidneck School Field in Middletown.
