Audrain Cars and Coffee season begins at Fort Adams in Newport

Posted

The Audrain Auto Museum has been hosting their “Cars and Coffee” events since 2016, and the 2019 season is now underway.  The first event was held at Fort Adams in Newport, and there are thirteen more scheduled, culminating with the October 26th event, which will be held back at Fort Adams to close the season.

The venues will rotate between The Elms, Chateau Sur Mer, and The Marble House, McAulley Hall at Salve Regina, and Fort Adams.  They start at 8 a.m. (display cars can start arriving at 7:30), and run till 10.  As the name implies, there’s coffee (and some breakfast foods, along with various Audrain paraphernalia for purchase).

And then there’s the more important part of the name, Cars. You can always count on a diverse display of cars, trucks and motorcycles.  From vintage Bentleys to modern day Ferraris, with nearly everything in between.  Audrain is known for having one of the best collections in the country, and they always seem to bring something special to the party.

There’s no cost to attend or to display. If you’ve got a car, truck, SUV or motorcycle that you’d like to show, registration is mandatory. Just do it on the Audrain website at AudrainAutoMuseum.com
