Angelarosa Cavallaro, 100, of Barrington, passed away on Dec. 28, 2017. She was the beloved daughter of the late Aniello and Angelina (Langella) Cavallaro.

Her hobbies included sewing and spending time with her family.

Angelarosa is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph, Mary and Anna Cavallaro and Julia Brewer.

Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, will be Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at 8:30 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
