She was the wife of the late Joseph Marshall.

Agnes Dorothy (Alves) Marshall, 91, a lifelong resident of Bristol, R.I., died, Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at the home of her daughter in Warren, R.I.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Marshall.

Born in Bristol, RI, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Emma (Cabral) Alves.

Mrs. Marshall was a member of His Providence Church in Swansea, Mass. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren at their sporting events. In her youth she was an avid volunteer with youth sports.

She is survived by four sons, Joseph Marshall and his partner Jean of Riverside, R.I., Steven Marshall and his wife June of Riverside, R.I., Bruce Marshall and his wife Brenda of Bristol, R.I., and Wayne Marshall and his wife Donna of Bristol, R.I., a daughter Emma Kaiser and her husband Kenneth of Warren, R.I., one sister, Elsie Cabral of Bristol, R.I., 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Manuel Alves, Anthony Alves, William Alves, John Alves, Mary Coelho, Tina Paiva, Elizabeth Silvia, Margaret McKenzie, Phoebe Mello, and Emily Silvia.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, at 10 a.m. in His Providence Church, 262 Swansea Mall Drive, Swansea, Mass.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Warren Fire Department, 1 Joyce St., Warren, RI 02885.

Arrangements are by Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.
