A Night of Outdoor Music & Cocktails at Linden Place Mansion

Posted

With pubs on hold, Linden Place brings the pubs to you with a night of outdoor live music and refreshments! Linden Place is planning an outdoor music event on Friday, March 19th, at 7:30 PM. The night will feature outdoor lighting, fire pits, heaters and Adirondack chairs, in the courtyard of the historic Linden Place Mansion. Guests are encouraged to BYOB (bring your own blanket) and enjoy Irish music and cover songs by local musician, Brian Twohey while enjoying festive drinks from the cash bar provided by RI Cruisin’ Cocktails.

Brian Twohey is a guitarist and singer who has performed throughout New England for over 15 years at venues such as Buskers in Newport, McBride’s in Providence, and all places in-between. Brian incorporates both past and present Irish tunes using an acoustic guitar, harmonica, and the contemporary influences of Dave Matthews and Tom Petty.

We recommend reservations as space is limited. Tickets are $15, and $10 for Linden Place members and can be purchased by visiting www.lindenplace.org or by calling 401-253-0390.

For more information or to confirm a reservation, visit www.lindenplace.org or call the office at 401-253-0390.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
