Bernice Marie (Rego) Rebello, 76, of Bay View Avenue, passed away on March 3, 2017 at RI Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late William Alfred and Ruth Evelyn (O’Brien) Rego.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Olivo and her husband Stephen, of Bristol; and grandchildren Justin Olivo of Cranston, and Catarina Olivo of Bristol. She was the sister of the late William “Billy” A. Rego Jr. and Edmund G. Rego.
Bernice was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School and bookkeeper for the family business, Rego and Sons for 10 years. She also worked for Maral Paper Co of Cranston for 15 years and then became a caregiver for All About Home Care before retiring. She was a member of The Bristol County Lions Club.
Her funeral services will be held Saturday, March 25, 9 a.m., from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours are Friday, 5-7 p.m.
