Stanley Alfred Boren Jr., also known to friends and family as “Lee” or “Stan,” 80 and formerly of East Providence, lost his battle with Mesothelioma and passed away on May 7, 2019, in his home in Oro Valley Arizona, with family at his side. Born in Providence on March 31, 1939, he was the son of Stanley Alfred Boren and Ruth Adams Boren.
He is survived by his wife Christie Noble, daughter Nancy, grandson Tyler, brother Ernest (Sandra) and numerous nieces and nephews in three generations, most of whom celebrated his 80th birthday with him at “the best party he ever had,” in East Providence on March 31. He was predeceased by his sister Sandra (John) Poland.
