EAST PROVIDENCE — The host Riverside Little League 11-12 Major Baseball Division All-Stars made quick work of Portsmouth Thursday night, July 6, at the Forbes Field Complex, winning their District 2 Tournament game by a resounding 14-0 score.
Riverside, having one of its best tourney runs in recent memory, advances to the winners bracket final Tuesday night, July 11, opposite host Bristol, which likewise dispatched Darlington with ease last Thursday night, 11-1. First pitch at the Vets Park Complex on Wood Street in Bristol on Tuesday is 5:45 p.m.
Portsmouth, meanwhile, was slated to host Barrington in a losers' bracket game Saturday, July 8, also at 5:45 p.m.
